Aloe Power Plant by Wolfgang Wirth

Wolfgang Wirth - Researcher, Pharmacist

Wolfgang Wirth, *1932 to †2011, was a medicinal plant researcher and pharmacist with training as a practical psychologist. During his professional career in agriculture, Wolfgang Wirth published his first works in 1957/58: "Meliorationen – Basis für gesunde Böden" (Land Improvement – Basis for Healthy Soils) and "Measures for Combating Bovine Tuberculosis." Alongside his professional work, he studied various disciplines such as Ayurveda, Chinese medicine , and finally homeopathy .
Since 1966, Wirth has been a member of the supervisory board of the Korean Leprosy Relief Association. In 1975, he was appointed to the Lazarus Hospital Order. Since 1979, he has been a member of the Research Center for Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in Hong Kong.
In 1981, he was awarded a doctorate in Ayurvedic and Homeopathic Medicine in the USA. During this time, Wolfgang Wirth, together with partners, founded the Working Group for Basic Research in Biological Medicine in Berlin, where he primarily dedicated himself to researching aloe and numerous other natural remedies. His research was based on the work of Professor Vladimir Petrovich Filatov in connection with neurotransmitters (biogenic stimulation, biogenic stimulators).
His most important work, "Healing with Aloe," was published in 1985. In it, he focused primarily on the Aloe capensis group (Capaloe, Aloe arborescens, Aloe ferox, and Aloe socotrina). In 1988, Wirth filed a patent for a process for producing an extract from aloe leaves of the plant genus Aloe capensis or Aloe arborescens, and subsequently obtained further patents in this scientific field.
Based on his findings regarding the effects of biostimulated Aloe capensis, Wolfgang Wirth also developed a line of therapeutic cosmetics, which he describes in his book "Therapeutic Cosmetics : The 100 Wonders of Aloe ." This cosmetic line was revised by the company Wilhelm Hoflehner starting in 1999 and launched on the market as natural cosmetics. Wolfgang Wirth remained available to the Hoflehner team as a consultant until the very end.
As part of his research, he also created a brochure dealing with the effects of Aloe capensis in the various areas of application: Aloe Powerhouse

Subsequently, Wirth explored the practical applications of Gregorian medical science by analyzing well over a hundred plants from the "Green Pharmacy of Georgia" with all their protective and healing substances. In 1990, he published the book " A People Without Disease " together with Prof. Dr. Dr. Michael Shengelia, in which scientific findings on previously unknown medicinal substances from familiar crops such as corn and carrots, as well as new anti-cancer agents, were presented.
Recently, Wolfgang Wirth has been working on the restoration of the ancient medical school of Laodicea, which is primarily dedicated to tasks in the field of environmental medicine.

Unfortunately, Wolfgang Wirth passed away in 2011 and was therefore unable to continue his work. However, he made invaluable contributions to natural medicine.
